Hand frame knitting is the process of knitting a jumper on a hand operated knitting machine.  It is knitted circularly so there are no seams and no waste.  The neck and cuffs are grafted on by hand. 

These are special garments. It takes a great deal of time and skill to create one of these.

Made using 100% Shetland wool sourced from Jamieson s Spinning Mill 40 miles up the road.
